The City of Milpitas The City of Milpitas contracted me to write seven stories and a fact sheet for the dedication of Milpitas' new city hall in October 2002. The stories were used for press kit collateral and were submitted as contributed articles to the local newspaper. I was given one month to research, write, and revise copy for final distribution. Due to the substantial workload and the short project timeline, I enlisted the help of a fellow writer to write three of the stories. I wrote the others as well as project managed the writing effort to streamline coordination for city officials. "Marnie was a pleasure to work with.
